Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art is a Government Institute,
having administrative and financial control over it by the
Government and for academic control it is affiliated to the
Mumbai University since 1981-82 as a college for teaching B. F.
A. (Applied Art) degree course. Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art is
one of the most well known Art institution that has produced
many famous professionals in the Media and
Advertising Industry.

We hold our heads high to know that our Institute has produced
well-known professionals and personalities, who did not stop at
only making a difference in the Art Field but also went beyond
it, to contribute to our society and even the world.

 JJAAAN was founded in 2008 and initiated
variousworkshops for the students of JJIAA.
In August 2009, JJAAAN was formally registered
as a Trust
(Reg. No. E-26072 - Mumbai).
JJAAAN is a publicly supported, non-profit
foundation that creates platforms, providing
education and technology based resources
that aims to benefit as many students from
JJIAA as possible. Its sole purpose is to
restore, protect and develop our Institute
for future needs of the Communication.-------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a team of current students of Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art,
who have volunteered to be part of the execution team for the 75
years event. They have been divided into various groups to coordinate with various key responsibilities like, Research, Documentation,
Administration, Volunteering, Ground Force, Thinkers, Designers etc. Each
one is inducted into the team with an Oath and the Karu
Sutras that sets the framework for being part of the Karu Gang !
